I completed my undergraduate & postgraduate training in the North east & have worked as a Consultant in NTW since 2006.
I am currently a consultant in the South of Tyne Memory Protection Service & the NTW Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) Service.
I am a co applicant and work-stream lead for the Supporting Excellence in End of life care for Dementia (SEED) project. This five year, NIHR funded, programme of research aims to improve end of life care for people with dementia

I have gained extensive experience as a consultant in specialist older peoples’ community mental health teams & in patient services. I have worked as an Approved Clinician on in-patient units for people with functional and organic illnesses & challenging behaviour.
