I originate from Sudan in Africa and I have lived in UK since 1993.
I studied Medicine in Egypt and graduated in Ain Shams University, Cairo.
Between 1996 and now, I have worked in the North East in all the smaller trusts that later came together to be NTW.
My initial training for a period of 6 month before coming to Newcastle was as a Junior Doctor in Old Age Psychiatry in Pontefract, West Yorkshire.
I have considerable experience in General Psychiatry, Old Age, Addictions and Psychotherapy.
I work well with teams and am able to motivate and develop teams. I am passionate about what I do, easy to work with and a great believer in empowering people.
Big part of my interest is health education to the public, professional development of health worker and medical students teaching.
