I have a CCT in in Psychiatry of learning disability and did work in the LD in the past. However, I have been working in the Adult community psychiatry in the last few years with my special interest being in Neuropsychiatry and Somatoform disorders.
I am looking forward to a change in my job plan where I would start doing two clinical sessions in Learning disability again, that will amount to one day a week. I attended courses on autism this year.
I teach the medical students and train a GP trainee in Psychiatry.
I am looking forward to a proposed ‘’Guardianship role’’ for the junior doctors for the trust in imminent future.
I remain registered with the Neuropsychiatry, Learning disabilities and Sports psychiatry faculties of the Royal College.’’
