Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (NTW) NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health, learning disability and neuro-rehabilitation services to a population of 1.4 million people in the North East of England. Services are provided across six geographical areas of Northumberland, Newcastle, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Gateshead and Sunderland.

In August 2016 the Trust was awarded Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission, one of the first mental health Trusts in the country to achieve this.

We are one of the largest mental health and disability organisations in the country with an income of circa £300 million and circa 6,000 staff. We operate from over 60 sites and provide a range of comprehensive services including regional and national specialist services.
