This is an outreach and day service for children and young people with complex neurodevelopmental disorders. The service provides a group intervention for early years children, as well as detailed diagnostic assessment and second opinion services, consultation and advice on management of children and young people. The service is based at Walkergate Park but provides outreach throughout the region and North Cumbria.

Newcastle Blue Room Treatment

CNDS provides the new Blue Room Treatment for situation specific anxiety, phobia and fear in children with ASD. The following brochure has been written to give families and professionals information about this novel treatment.

Referrals for treatment are accepted via Community CAMHS team, Community Paediatrician or GP and should be made using the Newcastle Blue Room referral form
