Rose Lodge – Learning Disability Specialist Assessment and Treatment Unit (Hebburn) – NTW055

12 beds providing acute assessment and treatment inpatient services for both men and women over the age of 18 who have a learning disability and mental health needs.

The unit provides an Assessment and Treatment service (A&T) for men and women aged 18 and over and for people with a learning disability, who would benefit from admission to a specialist learning disability facility as opposed to a ‘mainstream mental health hospital’.

All of the LD Specialist, Assessment and Treatment Wards offer a multi-disciplinary approach (based on Bio-Psycho-Social Mode of Care) to assessment, treatment and care for adults 18 and over with learning disabilities and mental health problems/severely challenging behaviour.
